I'm Joop Zandbergen, and I live in Alkmaar. I started spotting in 1993, with my best friend Marnix. Main "targets" at that time where Soesterberg and Leeuwarden, but we visited also other Dutch Airbases. After some years, I went spotting in other countries. At this time I visited the USA (also Alaska), Poland, Austria, Denmark, and of course the France, Germany, Belgium and the UK. In the early days, I only collected operational military serials, but nowadays I also collect Wrecks & Relics. Also photographing is a serious hobby at this time, but the serial is still number one! When I'm on or near an airfield, you will see me most of the time together with Patrick Dirksen, who has become a good (spotters)friend the last years!
